I’m sorry to say that I’ve discovered I’m not cut out to do recording, such as my podcasts, on a long-term basis. As with many other things, writing, recording, producing and marketing the Podcast takes time from my first love - quilting - and my business - web design. I wish I could say that I had so much fun doing this that I couldn’t bear to quit; sadly, that’s not the case.

When something isn’t fun anymore, you should admit it’s time to stop. It’s time to go on to something else. I’ve learned a lot from podcasting, and though it was fun for a while, it’s not the sort of fun quilting (or web design) is.

Thank you for listening and enjoying the Drive to Quilt Podcast during its time on the air. The archived podcasts will remain available here for time being. I encourage you to visit the Quilt Epiphany Weblog, where I will continue to write about quilting and other things related.

Happy New Quilting Year to you all.

Nadine

Around the Block with Judy Hopkins is a great reference book for blocks, and taught me a lot about the grid base of quilt blocks.

Love this book for more reasons than just her section on pattern drafting.

Great book on Mariner's Compass Quilts from the acknowleged expert!

My computer quilting program of choice. Visit the Electric Quilt website to pre-order EQ6 before November 20!

Great stand alone program with many pre-drafted Mariner's Compass blocks.

Look for either of these books for good instruction for quilt pattern drafting.

The Machine Quilting - Master the Basics Workshop on CD and many other perfect gifts for everyone on your list are available now at The Quilt Shop@DreamWeaver's Quilts.

Visit the Quilt Retreat Photo Album for a peek at the fun! You definitely shouldn't miss the egg beater thingy!
